Mrs. Vikki Lynn Belcher Parsons, age 57, of North Wilkesboro, NC passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2013 at Macedonia Church of Christ, 25350 Watauga Road, Abingdon, VA 24211, with Minister Ron Musick and the Reverend Steve Snipes officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00- 2:00 p.m., Friday at the church.
Mrs. Parsons was born May 26, 1955 in Buchanan County, VA to Donald Lee Belcher and Lois Shortridge Belcher. She was co-owner, with her husband, of Michael's Jewelry. Mrs. Parsons was a member of Wilkesboro Presbyterian Chapel.
She is survived by her husband, Michael P. Parsons; daughter, Kellie D. Cooper and husband David of Bristol, TN; step-daughter, Lauren F. Parsons of Portland, OR; granddaughter, Sydney Cooper; her parents, Donald Lee Belcher and Lois Shortridge Belcher of Glade Spring, VA; sister, Kim Anderson of Glade Spring, VA; and brother, Michael Belcher and wife Patricia of Emory, VA.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Wilkesboro Presbyterian Chapel Building Fund, 205 East Main Street, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
