Walter Marvin "Fuzzy" Burke, Jr.

Abingdon, VA – Walter Marvin “Fuzzy” Burke, Jr., age 50, passed on Friday, October 11, 2019, at his home.  Walter was a life long resident of Washington County and a former employee of Sandvik Tool.   He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Marvin “Bud” Burke, Sr.; step father, Don Brannon; maternal grandparents, Dave and Janie Reynolds; and paternal grandparents, Margaret and Bob Burke. Walter is surived by his mother, Alice Faye Brannon; son, Adam Burke; daughter, Keri Pruett; sister, Brenda Faye Burke; grandchildren, Zachary Underwood, Able Pruett, and Aiden Pruett; and special friend, Lynn Reynolds. A private interment will be held in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to express sympathy online may do so by visiting www.farrisfuneralservice.com and signing the online guest register. The family of Walter Marvin Burke, Jr. is being cared for by Farris Funeral Service & Crematory, 427 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210, (276) 623-2700.
