William Armistead Barrow

William Armistead "Will" Barrow passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born April 24, 1977, in Abingdon, Virginia to Jack Chesley and Darla Wingo Barrow.
He was a graduate of Abingdon High School, Class of 1995, and attended Radford University. He was very active in all aspects of musical productions and graphic arts while in school. He lived and worked in Roanoke, VA, Raleigh, NC, and Atlanta, GA over the past twelve years.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Darla Barrow; one sister, Mary Lee Murphy and husband Joe of Lebanon, TN; and one brother, Jack Chesley Barrow II of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by one niece, Lindsey Murphy Christenbury and husband Aaron, and one nephew, Sean Thomas Murphy, all of Lebanon, TN; his "Aunt Dottie" â?? Dottie Lee Wingo, and "Uncle Dub and Aunt Wendy" â?? William W. Wingo III and Wanda Carver Wingo of Roanoke, VA.
William was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Armistead "Pa Boo" and Mary Bell "Ma" Barrow; his maternal grandparents, William Walter "Bill" and Dorothy Van Dyke "Dot" Wingo; his uncle, Dr. John A. "Boo" Barrow III, and his great-grandparents, Dr. Albert Lee and Emilie Reeder Barrow.
Funeral services for William A. Barrow will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 124 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA, with the Rev. Dr. Craig R. Wylie officiating. Vestry members will serve as pallbearers. Graveside services and burial will follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park, Main Street, Abingdon, VA. Following the burial, the family will receive friends at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
