Zola Marie Davenport Lewis

Zola Marie Davenport Lewis, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Valley Health Care in Chilhowie.
She was born December 31, 1922 in Hayter's Gap, VA, a daughter of the late Sankey Elmer and Lona Margie Francisco Davenport. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shockley Jack Lewis, an infant daughter, Deborah K. Lewis; four brothers and one sister.
Survivors are her brothers, Herbert R. Davenport and wife, Gloria of Glade Spring and Harold Gene Davenport and wife, Kay of Pounding Mill, VA; her sister, Talitha Henegar of Abingdon and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in the Colonial Chapel Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens with the Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Those attending may meet at the cemetery. No visitation will be held.
