Bonnie Beane

May 4, 1946 — July 24, 2022

On July 24, 2022 our mom, Bonnie Beane, took her final breath and joined her parents, Dorsey Richard and Lola Jean in Heaven.

Born on May 4, 1946, she was raised in Washington, D.C., the oldest of three.

She is survived by Donna Beane, sister of Palm Desert, Calif.; Bryan Beane (Diane), brother of Hendersonville, N.C.; her daughters, Chris Mead of Mechanicsville, Va., and Deb (Kevin) Harper of Henrico, Va.; and her five grandsons, who she absolutely adored, Patrick Shrader, Zachary Shrader, Christopher Harper, Braydon Harper and Jackson Harper.

Bonnie touched countless lives from the east to west coast over her 35 year career as a RN.

We respectfully follow her wishes for no traditional funeral. If you'd like, donations can be made in her name to your local animal rescue, local hospice or Kelly's Place (Venmo: @kelly-hentzen), where mom was loved and cared for with the utmost respect.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the gathering room at Farris Cremation & Funeral Center located at 19415 Lee Hwy., Abingdon, Va., from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 5, 2022. A private entombment service with immediate family will follow at a later time..
