Carla Jeanne Yarber

On February 2nd, 2026, the world lost a wonderful woman, Carla Yarber. She was a kind, loving, caring mother, wife, and daughter. Carla has left our earth to go be in her heavenly home, following her grandmother, mother, father, sister, and the husband she adored, Bruce Yarber.

While earthside, she spent her days uplifting those around her in song, dance, and music, inspiring all whose paths she crossed. She left behind a large family, close friends, a band she loved, and a group of fans, all of whom miss her dearly. 

Those holding her close to their hearts include her son, Brian, and his wife, Mary; her daughter, Cheryl; her grandchildren, Kristy, Heather, Mandy, Samantha, Sean, and Erica; her great-grandchildren Isaiah, Benjamin, Neo, Cole, Blaze, Jeremiah, Reid, Skyla, Mariah, Micah, Cash, and Levi; her close church family and real family, Tracy and Valerie, and the members of their church; extended family including aunts, uncles, and cousins such as Michele, Cecil, Ruby, Carter, Tina, and many more worthy of recognition; and family’s family, including all spouses of those named and the Buchanans, who all held Carla close to their hearts.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with a funeral following at 3:00 p.m. The burial will be on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
