Mr. Cecil Clarence Crane, 96, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at his home.

He attended the Harvest Time Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a former employee of the Pet Milk Company with twenty-seven years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife of seventy-three years, Frances Harless Crane, his parents, several brothers and sisters, and one son, Clark S. Crane.

Survivors include his sons and their spouses, Huston R. and Jackie Crane, Orlando, FL, Lonnie D. and Jean Crane, Meadowview, VA, Whitley K. and Karen Crane, Richmond, VA, C. Phil and Linda Crane, Glade Spring, VA, Dwight M. and Brenda Crane, Abingdon, VA, daughter-in-law, Doris Crane, Lakeland, FL, one brother, Melvin Crane, Bristol, TN, three sisters, Nannie Wynegar, Bristol, TN, Carmen Caldwell, Baltimore, MD, Velma Tapscott, Bristol, VA, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway with Brother Fonzo Randolph officiating.Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens.Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
