Charles "Charlie" Byrd, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 after a brief illness at his home in Glade Spring, VA.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Garrett officiating. Entombment will follow at Serenity Gardens Mausoleum.
