Cristal Rena Blevins Hamm, age 42, of Damascus, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 25,2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Cristal was born on September 9,1979 and was a lifelong resident of Damascus, Virginia. She was a member of High Point Baptist Church. She was the adopted daughter of the late Thurman and Dorothy Blevins. Her biological parents were the late Ervin and Nancy Lewis.
In addition to both sets of her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Justin, Randy, and Bob, a sister, Sue, and a step-son Randy.
Cristal is survived by her loving husband Walter Hamm Jr.; Three brothers, Michael and wife Julie, Charles and wife Gloria, and Danny; two sisters, Myrtle and husband Tommy and Heather; a step-daughter, Betty Jo; a nephew Jayden; grandchildren Vihann, Ciara, Jaeden, Taleeya, Dessanie, Kanan, and Savanna.
Also left to cherish her memory are her special cousins Toni, Chrissa, Melissa, Mandi, and Kandi, a sister-in-law Cherl, a mother-in-law Shirley, and many other cousins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1,2022 at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Farris Funeral Service Chapel located at 427 Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with pastor Dwayne Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in the Mock Cemetery in Damascus, VA.
Pallbearers will be Abby Spicer, Ray Blevins, Doug Puckett, Chuck Blevins, Austin Mardis, and Steve Parsons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Farris Funeral Service to assist with funeral expenses.
