Daniel Lee Tate, age 70, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was born June 14, 1950, to the late William Henry Tate and Glenna B. Almany Tate. He was formerly employed at Kerns Bakery in Bristol, Va. Daniel resided at Greendale Home for the Aged for the past two and a half years.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was also preceded in death by several siblings.
He is survived by three siblings, Sue Helton of Abingdon, Va.; Lewis Conrad Tate and wife, Linda, of Abingdon, Va.; and Barbara Ann Goodman and husband, Randy, of Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
