Daniel Glenn Little, Sr.

Abingdon, VA - Daniel Glenn “Danny” Little, Sr., a devoted Christian and cherished family man, passed away on April 20, 2026, in Bristol, Tennessee, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 7, 1958, in Abingdon, Virginia, Danny’s lifelong commitment to his Lord and family left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Danny was a graduate of Abingdon High School and went on to dedicate nearly 30 years of his professional life as an engineer at Tri-Tube. His expertise and skill were evident in his remarkable talent as an electrician, machinist, and mechanic. Those who had the privilege of witnessing his work admired his ability to fix things with precision and care, qualities that reflected his humble and loving nature. Daniel found joy in helping his family with various projects, always ready with a steady hand and sound advice.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Dan Little and Bertie Lee Fields Little, as well as his wife, Debra Fay Harless Little, and sister, Darlene Little. Despite these profound losses, Danny remained a steadfast presence for his loved ones, continually demonstrating quiet strength and kindness.

Danny is survived by his two sons, Daniel Little, Jr. and his wife Stacy, and Joshua Little and his wife Kelly. He also leaves behind a brother, Jerry Little, and a sister, Wanda Little. His legacy extends through his ten grandchildren—Jon, Peyton, Ryan, Katelyn, Blake, Waylon, Winston, Warren, Makenna, and Delaney—each of whom held a special place in his heart. Additionally, Danny is remembered fondly by several nieces and nephews who admired their uncle’s dedication and generosity.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will be conducted at Monday, April 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Tanksley officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Tim Powers, Mike McNeely, R.J. Little, J.R. Little, Isaac Johnson, Isaiah Johnson serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Little and Bobby Helton.
