Doris Buckles Quintana

Doris Buckles Quintana, age 80, passed on Monday, May 1, 2023, at her home.  Doris was born in Meadowview, VA and graduated from high school in Beckley, WV.  She worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad and for the Bristol Virginia State Police Office for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Leeman Buckles and Nancy Wohlford Buckles; sister and brother-in-law, Donna Thompson and husband Mike Thompson; and son-in-law, Bruce Haliburton.

Doris is survived by her husband, William A. Quintana; daughters, Christine Puttock and Nancy Haliburton; brother, Claude “Bucky” Buckles and wife Diane; granddaughter, Madeline Camper and husband Zeb; and many cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Meadowview United Methodist Church.
