Dorothy Jewell Blackwell

Dorothy Jewell Warden Blackwell went to be with her Lord and Savior June 10, 2023.

She loved the Lord with all her heart, soul and being. She attended First Assembly of God Church in Bristol, VA.  

She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Blackwell and son Kenneth J. Blackwell as well as her parents Charles Lacy and Vennie Blevins Warden; four brothers: Charles Warden Jr., Paul Warden, Bill Warden and Doug Warden; two sisters Ruby Wilson and Sue Hearl.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Blackwell and wife Tammy of Bybee, Tennessee, Jerry Blackwell of Bristol, Virginia and Keith Blackwell of Kingsport, Tennessee; one daughter, Anita Cain and husband Tony Hutchinson of Blountville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Adam Cain and Logan Stanley; and one sister, Yvonne Blevins of Milford, Delaware. Many nieces and nephews along with many special friends whom she loved and cherished.

A private graveside service was held at Forest Hills Cemetery in Abingdon, Virginia.
