Egbert Ervin "Eddie" Wolfe

Abingdon, VA – Egbert Ervin “Eddie” Wolfe, age 93, passed on Monday, April 1, 2024, in Johnston City Medical Center.  Eddie was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Gospel Tabernacle.  He was a barber for over 65 years and owned Wolfe’s Barber Shop.   

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Elsie Ingle Wolfe; first wife, Ruby Camper Wolfe; second wife, Lantha Matney Wolfe; brothers, Garland Wolfe, Bobby Wolfe, John Denton Wolfe, and Herschel Wolfe; sister, Florence Arnold; and stepson, Larry Vanhoose.

He is survived by his sister, Gladys Whittaker; brother, Kenneth Wolfe; granddaughters, Angela Vanhoose and Ellen Wise; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in Forests Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor David Robins and Pastor Adam Wolfe officiating.
