Eileen Wynegar Fink, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Eileen found joy in the people she loved and the memories they created together. She believed in the importance of family, friendship, and living with grace and generosity. She modeled this throughout her life and in her nursing career. Her influence will continue to be felt through the lives she touched.
Eileen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bryant Fink; her mother, Frances Newbould; and her father, Scott Wynegar.
She is survived by her loving children, Ry Fink; Zoe Poplin and her husband, Timmy; and Zachary Fink and his wife, Amanda. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Connor Fink, Ziva Sanderson, Juniper Fink, and Ezra Poplin, each of whom brought her tremendous joy. She is also survived by her beloved sisters, Mary Lou Wynegar and Diane Wynegar, along with extended family, dear friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.
Though Eileen is no longer with us, her love, strength, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Valley Healthcare and Caris Hospice for the exceptional care, comfort, and kindness they provided to Eileen during her final days. Their support and dedication will always be remembered with deep appreciation.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, 10:00 am-11:00 am at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 427 E. Main Street, Abingdon, VA. A celebration of Eileen's life will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11:00 am with Celebrant William Denton officiating. The family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support extended during this difficult time.
