Ella June Hay Reynolds

Blacksburg, Va – Ella June Hay Reynolds, age 95 and born in Trammel, Va. to the late Mary Lyell Hay and Johnny V. Hay, died on Monday, June 27, 2022.

She is survived by her son, Gary G. Reynolds (Debbie A. Reynolds) formerly of Marion, Va; one sister, Willa Mae Hootman of Kendallville, In; three grandchildren, Dawn R. (Richard) Powers, Terrell, Tx, Angela M. Smith, Blacksburg, Va., and Zane G. (Jessica) Reynolds, Blacksburg, Va; eleven great grandchildren; nine great -great grandchildren; sisters -in –law, Jolene Hay, Roanoke, Va. and Betty Reynolds, Salem, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Grey Reynolds of Marion, Va; sisters and brothers-in-law, Trula (George) Turner, Madeline (Othnie)Rowe , Phyllis (Bud) Norris, Vicki Norris, and Elsie (Parke)Wright; one brother, R.C. Hay; brothers- in- law, Harold Ike Reynolds and Robert Hootman; one niece, Peggy Norris; one great niece, Jayla Sullivan; and one great grandchild, Chassidy .

Ella June lived in Marion, Va. for many years and attended Gospel Chapel for over 50 years. Gram was well loved and will be missed greatly.

Visitation with the family will be held 12-12:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022, in the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. At the request of the family, please wear a face covering.
