Elsie Faye Hutton passed away Monday, January 9, 2012, at Wythe County Community Hospital . She was of the Church of God of Prophesy faith. She was preceded in death by her son Travis Hutton; brothers Carl Dunford, Arnold Dunford, Herbert Dunford and Ray Dunford; sisters Viola Testerman and Kathleen Dunford; and grandchildren Michelle Price and Jacob Hutton.
She is survived by her sons, Terry "Turk" Hutton and wife Carolyn of Marion, VA; and Eric McCloud and wife Althea of Chilhowie, VA; daughters Cheryl Robinson and husband Terry of Davidson, NC; Dawn Sheets of Chilhowie; Carol Ann Baldwin and husband Dallas of Konnarock, VA; and Ann Marie Eberly of Konnarock; sisters Ruthie Parks of Sugar Grove, VA; Ina Graham and husband George of Troutdale, VA; and Janette Parks and husband Junior of Troutdale; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2012, from noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Slemp Cemetery in Sugar Grove , VA.
Elsie Hutton and her family are in the care of Farris Funeral Service and Crematory, 427 East Main Street , Abingdon , VA 24210 (276-623-2700).
