Frances Harless Crane, 91 passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at her residence.
She was a lifelong residence of Washington County, VA and attended the Harvest Time Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Crane was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Rebecca Chapman Harless, a son, Clark S. Crane and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her loving husband of seventy-three years, Cecil C. Crane, Meadowview, VA, her sons and their spouses, Huston R. and Jackie Crane, Orlando, Florida, Lonnie D. and Jean Crane, Meadowview, VA, Whitley K. and Karen Crane, Richmond, VA, C. Phil and Linda Crane, Glade Spring, VA, Dwight M. and Brenda Crane, Abingdon, VA, her sister, Betty Hughes, Abingdon, VA, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the Farris Funeral Service, Main Street Chapel with Reverend Fonzo Randolph officiating.
The interment will be conducted Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those attending are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
