Frank Albert Santy passed away on August 19, 2025 in Abingdon, Virginia at the age of 100. He was born on October 27, 1924 in White Station, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Vandergrift High School before entering the Army Air Corp and serving during World War II. Frank was the owner of Santy’s Service Station in Washington Township for many years and past president of Washington Township Lions Club. After retiring from Alcoa, Pittsburgh as a draftsman, he lived in Cambridge Manor, Harwick, Pennsylvania.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Edward) Draper and Pamela (Richard) Miles; stepdaughters, Debra (Timothy) Cejka and Diane (Frank) Paul. His grandchildren include David (Anna) Draper, Ryan (Jaimee) Miles, Cara (Eric) Striler, Erin (Andrew) Riecker, Douglas (Kerri) Draper, Michael (Caitlyn) Miles, Mark (Pamela) Draper, Megan (Paul) Pavelich, Leah Draper,Sarah (Steven) Kenzevich and Jacob Paul. Frank also leaves behind 20 great-grandchildren. Survivors also include sister Ivana (Joseph) Zokaites and John Santy, and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Eleanor Veccaro Santy and second wife, Lillian Phillips Santy; parents, John Santy and Cesarina Chierici Santy; sisters, Grace (Larry) Fryer, Lida (Victor) Capretto, Delia (Robert) Sweeny; sister-in-law, Helen Santy; and brother, Romeo (Sheila) Santy.
Funeral arrangements will be handled by Charles B. Jarvie Funeral Home in Springdale, Pennsylvania
