Frankie Dee Weaver, age 81, of Bristol, Virginia, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025. He was born on June 11, 1944, in Falling Spring, Missouri, and was raised in Winona, Missouri.
Frankie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he worked as a jet engine mechanic. Following his military service, he owned and operated Weaver’s Auto Service in Winona, Missouri, for many years. Known for his exceptional skill and work ethic, Frankie was truly a master mechanic who could fix anything.
After marrying the love of his life, Patricia Ann, his devoted wife of 29 years, the couple made their home in Virginia. There, Frankie worked as a master log craftsman with Highlands Log Structures until his retirement. His craftsmanship, like his character, was marked by precision, care, and pride in a job well done.
Frankie was a man of many talents and passions. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with family. He and Ann also shared a love of traveling together, making lasting memories wherever they went. Those who knew Frankie will remember his warm smile, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his kind, selfless nature. He touched countless lives with his generosity and quiet strength.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wella Weaver; mother, Ellen Weaver; sisters, Charlotte Haynes and Shirley Weible; brothers-in-law, Larry Haynes, Damon Weible, and Dwight Spencer.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Weaver, of Bristol, VA; two daughters, Pamela Johnson (Winston) of Abingdon, VA, and Kimberly Ratliff (John) of Columbia, TN; four grandchildren, Alexis Macione (Robert) of Cosby, TN, Laeth Ratliff of Austin, TX, Savana Ratliff (Spencer) of Murfreesboro, TN, and Olivia Fink (Gabe) of Cairo, GA; and three great-grandchildren, Beau, Alina, and Giana Macione. He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Spencer of Winona, MO, along with several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. where Pastor Winston Johnson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, 5550 Bagging Plant Road, Dublin, VA 24084.
Frankie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, hard work, and love for family will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
