Glenna Sue Mullins, 70, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 2, 1955, at Clinch Valley Hospital in Richlands, Virginia, to the now late Edward Mullins and Julia “Tootsie” Mullins.
Glenna was preceded in death by her beloved parents; her brothers, Billy Mullins and James Mullins; her sisters, Ella Jean Cole and Linda Randolph; her niece, Stephanie Horn and her nephew, Patrick White.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her siblings: Mary White of Ludowici, Georgia; Lois Jewell of Bristol, Virginia; Anna Keen of Bristol, Virginia; Eugene Mullins of Bristol, Virginia; Gary Mullins of Sophia, North Carolina; Brenda Horn of Colonial Heights, Virginia; and Karen Reynolds of Weber City, Virginia.
Glenna was a devoted and loving aunt to 27 nieces and nephews and was also blessed with many great and great-great nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
She was a proud graduate of Whitewood High School, Class of 1973, and furthered her education by earning degrees from Southwest Virginia Community College and East Tennessee State University.
Following her education, Glenna built a successful career with Philip Morris Inc., where she faithfully worked until her retirement. She was a longtime resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, during her career before returning to Southwest Virginia. For the last ten years, she made her home in Bristol, Virginia, where she enjoyed being closer to her family.
Glenna’s life was a testimony of faith, perseverance, and love. She found joy in her family, treasured time with those she loved, and remained steadfast in her relationship with God. Though her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.
A Celebration of Glenna’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Stewart Cemetery, State Line Ridge Road, Buchanan County, Virginia.
