Hazel Marie Bish

Abingdon, VA – Hazel Marie Bish joined her husband of 52 years, William Ross Bish, on November 4, 2022.  She was born in Armstrong County Pennsylvania on February 28, 1928, the daughter of the late George Elias Brocious and Elsie Irene Snyder.  Mrs. Bish was preceded in death by eight brothers.

She was a devoted mother to seven children: the late Ernest Grant, Gloria Jean Weinstein and husband Alex, William Ross, Jr. and wife Regina, Larry Ray, Betty Jane Fleenor, Rosalind Marie McCauley and husband John, and the late Christopher Eugene; a loving grandmother to Jeff, Brian, Brianna, Shayla, Lori, Rachel, Tracy, Michael Ross, Kelly, and James; and great grandmother to nine children.

Visitation with the family will be held 2-3 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022, in Wyndale United Methodist Church, 16188 Shannon Hill Drive, Abingdon, VA.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Luther Roberts and Pastor Carolyn Kidd officiating.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Shannondale Union Cemetery in Shannondale, PA.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
