Helen Mae Stout, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Helen was born in Oakwood, VA and graduated from Garden High School in 1957. She had lived in Meadowview since 1976. Helen was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ.
She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Carrie Stout; sisters Gay Street and Dorothy Blankenship; brother Joe Stout. Helen is survived by her siblings Johnny Stout and wife Barbara of Keen Mountain, VA, Roger, Wilma, and Shirley Stout all of the home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Minister Ron Musick officiating. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery at least 15 minutes prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts, in Helen’s name, be made to Macedonia Church of Christ; P.O. Box 1385; Abingdon, VA 24212.
