Howard Foster Rattigan

Howard “Chip” Foster Rattigan, 71, passed away on May 2, 2024, in Bristol, VA. He was born in Butler, PA, and graduated from Butler High School. He received a Bachelors in Business Administration from Wheeling University, and a Masters in Health Administration from the University of St. Francis.

He is survived by his sons, Sean Rattigan of Minneapolis, MN, and Nicholas Rattigan of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by two sisters, Marianne Davidson of Henderson, NV and Karen Colley Vargo of Butler, PA. He is also survived by his former wife, Gail Rattigan of Henderson, NV, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service for Howard will be held on June 4, 2024, at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, PA. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Rev. Brady Randell will be officiating immediately following visitation.
