Johnny Wayne Davis, age 68, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at his residence. He was a lifelong carpenter and farmer who enjoyed hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wyndom Roscoe Davis and Tiny Agnes Davis; and seven siblings, Roscoe, Ernest, Robert, Ruth, Jean, Carol, and Janice.
Johnny is survived by his wife of 20 years, Marie Louise Davis; four step-children, Eddie Baldwin of Abingdon, Va.; Joe Baldwin and wife Bonnie of Abingdon, Va.; Sherry Necessary and husband Tom of Green Cove, Va.; and Jason Reynolds and wife Nikki of Abingdon, Va.; five siblings, Larry, Lonnie, Steve, Peggy, and Teresa; step-grandchildren, Samantha, Shannon, Cody, Jennifer, Justin, Jodi, and Katie; and four great step-grandchildren, Dawson, Lucas, Annie Mae, and Audrey.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with cremation to follow.
