Judith A. Marburg

Judith A. Marburg passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025 in Abingdon, Virginia. Judy was preceded in death by her parents William and Aurora Caputi; Brothers Vincent and John Caputi; and Sisters Louise Wendt and Grace Catalano. She is survived by her devoted husband Ernie, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Judy was born in Buffalo, New York, where she graduated from Lafayette High School and attended Canisius College. Judy married Ernie in February, 1960, and together they enjoyed many adventures including for the past 39 years while living in Abingdon.

Judy served as Office Manager for Christ the King Catholic Church for more than 20 years and also served as a volunteer with the Johnston Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Judy leaves a legacy of service to her community, quiet generosity, kindness, and friendship.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be private.
