Judy Ann Harris

Meadowview, VA - Judy Ann Raffa Harris, born October 7, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, in Bristol, TN. She was 84 years old.

Judy's journey through life was marked by resilience, kindness, and an ever-present devotion to those she loved. Born to Carmelo and Josephine Pagano Raffa, Judy spent her early years in Gardner, NY. Judy was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Raffa, whose memory she cherished deeply.

Judy leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her in their hearts. She is survived by her beloved husband, SgtMaj. David E. Harris, U.S. Army Ret., whose unwavering partnership brought strength and joy to her days. Together, they built a life centered around love, respect, and shared values.

Her legacy continues through her cherished children: Jeff Paquette and his wife, Tonya, and Heather Harris; granddaughter, Cassidy Paquette; nephews, Todd Raffa, Chris (Mary) Raffa, and Ricky (Jeness) Raffa; and nieces, Robin (Tim) Lynk, Stephanie Raffa and Isabella Raffa. Each carries forward the warmth, wisdom, and generosity that Judy gave so freely throughout her life.

A memorial service in celebration of Judy’s life will be held on June 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Farris Funeral Service – Main Street Chapel, located at 427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210. Pastor Mark Baumgardner will officiate. A private interment will be held in Mountain Home National Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Family members, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Judy are invited to gather in her memory.
