Judy Rupard Walker

Chilhowie, VA – Judy Ann Rupard Walker, age 85, passed on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at National Health Care in Bristol. Judy was born in Chilhowie, VA to the late Elwood and Ann Neeves Rupard. She was a graduate of Chilhowie High School and was a long-time employee of Super K and several other area retail stores. Judy was a member of Chilhowie Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her son, David Scott Walker; and grandson, Will Walker. She is survived by her son, Daniel B. Walker and wife Kim; two sisters, Barbara Orfield and husband Glen, and Carol Mullinax; three grandchildren, Fallon Grindstead and husband Tyler, Lindsey Robinson and husband Alex, and Gavin Walker; three great grandchildren, Gracie Grindstead, Walker Grindstead, and Emery Walker; granddaughter-in-law, Ashley Walker; very special niece, Jessica Mullinax; and three nephews, Chip Vance, Mike Vance, and Jason Mullinax.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in Middle Fork Cemetery in Chilhowie, VA with Pastor Cody Sturgill officiating. Pallbearers will be Daniel Walker, Gavin Walker, Tyler Grindstead, Alex Robinson, and Mike Mixon.
