Kimberly Jones Patrick

Kimberly Jones Patrick, 66, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born on March 2, 1960, to the late Thomas H. Jones Jr. and Carol Boyd Jones. She was of the Christian faith and had a great love for her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Jones Boyd of Emory, Va.; her sister, Kara Jones Walls (Albert) of Green Cove, Va; special nephew, Thomas M. Jones (Ashley) of Abingdon, Va.; nephew, Daniel W. Walls of Glade Spring, Va.; and niece, Jennifer Walls of Kingsport, Tenn; great-nieces and nephews: Braden Jones, Emerson Jones, Brenndan Duty, Isabella Walls, and Raelynn Walls; a very special aunt, Doris Maiden of Abingdon, Va.

Kim was employed by Southwest Virginia Community Health System as an LCSW. She helped many people and most likely saved many lives in her career. She had a heart to lift people up who may be disadvantaged in some way. She was definitely loved and appreciated by her coworkers.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
