Kitty Elaine Boyette

Kitty Elaine Boyette, 78, passed away on August 28, 2026, in Bristol, Tennessee.

Born on September 24, 1947, Kitty lived a life shaped by love of family, hard work, and the many places she called home along the way. She grew up in a military family and lived in many states and many countries, experiences that helped form the strong and adaptable spirit she carried throughout her life. She attended Lee High School in Huntsville, Alabama, and went on to build a long career as a Financial Advisor for GMAC, serving for many years with dedication and professionalism.

Most of Kitty’s adult life was spent in Alabama, a place that remained close to her heart. In 2011, she moved to Konnarock to be in the mountains, a setting that suited her love of nature and peaceful living. She found joy in gardening, plants, herbalism, and natural medication, interests that reflected her thoughtful and nurturing way of caring for the world around her. She was also a devoted Alabama fan, a passion she enjoyed sharing with others.

Above all, Kitty will be remembered for the love she gave to her family. She is survived by her husband, Roy Brittain; her daughter, Michelle Cooper, and Michelle’s husband, Eric; her granddaughter, Danica Cooper and Nicholas Walker; and her sisters, Kathy and Brenda. The bonds she shared with her family were a lasting source of happiness and pride, and her presence will continue to be deeply felt in their lives.

She was preceded in death by her father, William C. Fisher; her mother, Mae Smith Fisher; and her son, Mark Hale.

A private memorial service will be held in Alabama at a later date.
