Kodie Aaron Riner

Kodie Riner, age 32, of Abingdon, VA, passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on August 5, 2024.

Born on March 28, 1992, Kodie was a loving brother, uncle, and friend who brought joy to everyone around him. Kodie was known for his hard work and his generous spirit. He was always a good time and would do anything for anyone in need. His infectious laughter and unwavering kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him. 

Kodie is survived by his brother Jeremy and his wife Laken and their children Beckham and Delta; his Papaw Raymond Nunley; his Aunt Katie Crane and Uncle Mark Crane; his Uncle Eddie Riner and wife Melissa Riner; his aunts Lilly Riner, Becky Riner, and Sue Riner; along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends left to cherish his memory.

Kodie is preceded in death by his parents, Rebecca and Tommy Riner; his brother, Raymond Riner; his paternal grandparents, Dudley and Becky Riner; and his maternal grandmother, Brenda Robins. 

Visitation will be held at Farris Funeral Service, Main Street location on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm. The graveside service will be at 2:30 pm at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon VA with David Robins officiating.
