LeAnna Ballinger Wills

LeAnna Ballinger Wills, cherished wife of Don Wills, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2025, at the age of 47. LeAnna was a devoted daughter and mother, deeply dedicated to her children, Locklan and Aryani, whom she considered her greatest legacy. She was also recognized for her steadfast support and care of her parents, Larry and Bonnie Ballinger and a beloved sister to her brother, Kirk Ballinger.

Family and friends remember LeAnna for her engaging personality, characterized by both warmth and sociability. She possessed a unique ability to make those around her feel welcome and at ease and was admired for her distinct sense of humor and endearing quirks.

LeAnna's interests included arts and crafts, films, and subjects of the supernatural. She had a particular appreciation for rocks, minerals, and objects that were out of the ordinary. An accomplished photographer, LeAnna exhibited a remarkable eye for beauty in unexpected places, often pausing to capture the perfect image.

In addition to her husband, children, and parents, LeAnna is survived by her brother, Kirk Ballinger, his wife Hollie, their daughter Sophie, as well as numerous aunts, cousins, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends who will greatly miss her kindness and presence.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ernest and Nancy Henderson Duff; her paternal grandparents, David Romia and Gracie Hartman Ballinger; and her father-in-law, Harry A. Wills.

A scripture that reflects her life and legacy: Psalm 4:8 -"I will both lie down in peace, and sleep: for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety."

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 20060 Saturn Drive, Abingdon VA 24211.
