Lois Blevins Buchanan, a beloved member the Glade Spring community, has peacefully passed at English Meadows Abingdon VA. She was born on August 13, 1937 in Tazewell County, VA to the late Charles Alden Blevins and Blanche Osborne Blevins. Lois was a dedicated individual. Education was important to Lois, and she was a proud graduate of Chilhowie High School. Beyond her professional and personal interests, Lois had a talent for cooking and enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family. Her delicious meals and welcoming spirit brought loved ones together around the table.

Survived by her sons Rick Buchanan (Pam), Jeff Buchanan; brother Willard Blevins (Dottie); sisters, Wanda Johnson and Brenda Wolfe; grandchildren Mindy Buchanan-King (John), Gina Hutchinson (Brian), Codie (Tram); great-grandchild Reed Hutchinson; along with several nieces and nephews, Lois will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
