Margaret Tolliver Heath

Glade Spring, VA - Margaret Tolliver Heath passed away Sunday October 18, 2026, in Smyth County Community Hospital after battling a recent illness.

Margaret was born in Troutdale, VA to the late Luther Tolliver and Kate Henderson Tolliver. She retired from a long career as a CNA and an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Southwestern State Hospital in Marion and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Troy Lee Jackson Heath, and several siblings. Survivors include her son, Darren Heath and his wife Cynthia Heath and their daughter Brooke Heath, all of Madison AL; son, Travis Heath of Blacksburg VA; and several siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2026, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Friendship, VA with Rev. David Gary officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
