Michael Alan Shepard

Michael "Mike"Alan Shepard, age 80, passed away on October 6, 2025, in Abingdon, VA. Mike was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Albert Shepard and Elizabeth Gees Shepard. 

Mike graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Business and received his MBA from the University of Maryland. He worked at Marley/Royal Moldings for over 20 years and was a faithful member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Van-Shepard; son, Brian Nicholas Shepard (Deitra); daughter, Lindsey Nicole Shepard; step-son, Scott Allyn Van; sister, Nancy Long (John); and grandchildren Elianna and Alex.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at St. Anne's Catholic Church. The funeral mass will begin at 1:00 pm with the Very Reverend Tom Lawrence presiding.
