Minnie Frances Miller

Minnie Frances Miller, age 83, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Russell County Medical Center. She was born on September 15, 1939, to the late Banner Reynolds and Dorothy Mae Reynolds. Minnie was an amazing cook and very talented seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cross-stitching.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Ballard Miller; one son, Ted Ballard Miller; two sisters, Nanabee “Penny” Reynolds, Bonnie Boardwine; four brothers, Fred Reynolds, Moses Reynolds, Jay Banner Reynolds, and Slemp Reynolds.

She is survived by her daughter, Frances Marie Cook and her husband David V. Cook; granddaughter, Tiffany M. Rose and Virgello T. Rose III; great-grandchildren, Virgello T. Rose IV and GraciAna M. Rose; three sisters, Naomi Fields, Tiny Bell Campbell, and Ellen Black; two brothers, Albert Reynolds and Robert Reynolds; several nieces and nephews; special nieces, Melissa Wise and Vicky Sowder.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Farris Funeral Service-Main Street location. A private burial will be held.

The family would like to thank Ballad Health Russell County Hospital for their care of Minnie during her illness.
