Pamela Ann Duncan Gibson, born on December 11, 1960, in Washington County, Virginia, departed this life on May 5, 2025, in Bristol, Virginia. Throughout her years, Pam touched the hearts of many through her dedicated work and her caring nature.

A graduate of Abingdon High School, Pam furthered her education at Virginia Highlands Community College, where she studied education. She spent several years working at United Telephone Company in Bristol, contributing her skills and dedication to the community. Afterward, she embraced her calling as a caregiver, lovingly supporting numerous families throughout her career. Pam attended Fellowship Chapel in Bristol.

Pam will be remembered not only for her work but also for the warmth and joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her sense of humor was a treasure; she had a wonderful way of making others laugh and brightening their days. Honest, loving, and forgiving, Pam possessed a personality that drew people in and made them feel valued.

In her personal life, Pam found joy in the simple yet meaningful things. She had a deep love for flowers and enjoyed watching "The Waltons," a television program that resonated with her values of family and togetherness. A remarkable cook, everything she prepared was delicious and made with care. One of her simple pleasures was going on walks, where she enjoyed the beauty of nature. She loved her fur babies, Lexie and Ruffles.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Duncan and Margaret Lucille Kennedy Duncan.

She is survived by her two sons, Matthew Lewis and his wife, April, and Andrew Gibson; her granddaughter, Arabella Lewis; and her siblings, Sherrie Gallimore and her husband, Keith, Rev. Ronnie Duncan, and Randy Duncan and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Farris Funeral Service – Main Street Chapel in Abingdon, Virginia, starting at 6:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Scott Price officiating. 

Pamela Ann Gibson leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and compassion, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
