Patricia Ann Mason

Chilhowie, VA – Patricia Ann Mason, age 69, passed unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Patricia was a graduate of Chilhowie High School, worked briefly for the Town of Chilhowie, and then for many years for the Town of Abingdon. She loved nature and living in the mountains. Her hobbies included hiking, fishing, camping and serving with her church family who she loved dearly.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Ray Mason and Blanche Testerman Mason, and loved. She is survived by her brother, Clifford “Bill” Mason and wife Susan; sister, Rhonda Mason Sheets; nieces and nephews, Ethan (Klarrissa) Mason, Austin (Laken) Mason, and Billy (Courtney Underwood) Sheets; a very special aunt, Mae Dornon, who she dearly loved and aunt Lois Guyton; and five great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
