Meadowview, VA – Paul Whiteaker, age 76, passed on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Johnson City Medical Center. Paul was a U.S. Army Veteran and a sports enthusiast who loved the New York Yankees.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Henry and Eliza Perdue Whiteaker; siblings, Garnet Lee Whiteaker, Claude Monroe Whiteaker, Virgie Mae Graybeal, Walter Ray Whiteaker, James Whiteaker, Herbert Hoover Whiteaker, Leona Ruth Cox, Hazel Mae Gartin, and Carl David Whiteaker.
He is survived by his sister, Marie Edith Shires of Conowingo, MD, and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military rites conducted by Highlands Veterans Honor Guard and the Virginia Army National Guard was held in Greenwood Cemetery.
