Peggy Ann Hess

Blountville, TN – Mrs. Peggy Ann Miller Hess, age 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 22, 2022, joining her son, Keith, and many other beloved family members. She was born in Russell County on February 15, 1938, to Mont Clark and Mary Elsie Miller.

Ann was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her Lord and Savior and her life exemplified such. She was a longtime member of Victory Baptist Church and enjoyed visiting other members who were sick or shut in and baking their birthday cakes.

Left to cherish her memory are Curtis, her husband of 69 years; daughters, Teresa Houser and husband Tim, and Susan Agoglia and husband Bob; grandchildren, Michael Thompson, Ethan Hess and wife Kayla, Mandy Dinger and husband Andy, Brad Houser and wife Rachael, Tiffany Houser, Troy Houser and wife Alesha, Joey Barron, and Jeremiah Barron and wife Brandi; as well as six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Victory Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2022, with Dr. Austin Cook officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. prior to the service. A committal service will be held at Forest Hills Memory Gardens on Monday, April 25 at 1:00 p.m. with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
