Randy L. Campbell, a beloved member of the Bristol community, passed away on July 19, 2025, in his hometown of Bristol, VA. He was born on August 6, 1947, to the late Bob and Jane Chapman Campbell and lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and a welcoming spirit.

Randy had a distinguished career, having retired from Bristol Metals where he served as Vice President of Sales. His professional life was characterized by his commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic that earned him the respect of his colleagues and peers.

In addition to his business pursuits, Randy was an active member of Pleasant View Methodist Church, where he found joy and fellowship within his community of faith. His contributions to the church exemplified his character—always ready to lend a helping hand and share a warm smile.

Randy received his education at Virginia High School followed by Emory & Henry College, pursuits that laid the foundation for his future endeavors. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a testament to his patriotism and dedication.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Trish Goff, and his dog, Alex.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Pat; their daughter and son-in-law, Paige Campbell Mattingly and Kyle; and their sons, Moses O'Neal and Wayne O'Neal and his dog, Bean. Randy was also a cherished grandfather to Ashley and husband, Chris, Chelsea, Katie, and C.J., as well as a devoted great-grandfather to Brandon, Cooper, Ella, Kingston, Rubi, Keria, Kenna, and Alilah.

A crypt side service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, VA, starting at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Barbara Farmer officiating.

In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The Bridge Home, No Kill Animal Rescue, Blountville, TN.

Special thanks to the wonderful care from Elite Hospice, especially Monica who was a very special angel sent to us in our time of need.

Randy L. Campbell will be deeply remembered for his warmth, strong values, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those who knew him. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate through the generations he leaves behind.
