Abingdon, VA – Richard W. Gonderman, age 42, passed on Monday, December 28, 2020, the same day as his mother, at his home. Richard was a graduate of Abingdon High School and an employee of Abingdon Buff and Shine Auto Detailing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gary Neil Gonderman and Connie Sue Buckland Barbour.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara Beam and husband Kevin; brother, Gary Michael Gonderman and partner Jessica Fitzgerald; niece, Amber Gonderman; nephews, Michael Gonderman and Eric Lutz; special friend, Sarah Yuhasz and her daughter, Marilyn; and several cousins.
A joint visitation for Richard and Connie will be held 5-7 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
