Roger Sizemore

Roger Willis Sizemore, age 70, of Abingdon, VA passed away at his home on Thursday, July 20, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 22, 1952, to the late Willis Edwin and Bonnie Rasnake Sizemore. He served in the Army National Guard and was employed by S & S Corporation for 43 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mothers-in-law Mary Smith and Daisy Tiller, father-in-law Garry Tiller, and son-in-law Doug Myatt.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Donna Tiller Sizemore, children Pam Myatt, Kim Glovier and husband, John, and Jesse Sizemore and wife, Anna. Seven grandchildren, Kelsey Bostic (Kenneth) Katelin Walcott (Chris), Matthew, Emily and Joshua Glovier, Cooper Sizemore and Madelyn Sizemore, five great grandchildren, Brayden Bostic, Bryson Walcott, Parker Bostic, Lincoln Walcott and Mateo Walcott. Five siblings, James Sizemore (Skeeter), Sharon Barbrow (Dwayne), Edna Sizemore, Dedra Helbert (Worm) and Debra Hughes (John), father-in-law Kenneth Smith and brother-in-law Michael Tiller (Dana).

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Forest Hill Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Leon Musick officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Chris Walcott, Kenneth Bostic, Hunter Tilley, Dwayne Barbrow, John Hughes, Lawrence (Worm) Helbert.

Military honors will be provided by Highlands Veterans Honor Guard and Virginia Army National Guard.
