Ronnie Lee Layne

Abingdon, VA – Ronnie Lee Layne, age 61, passed on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in Dickenson Community Hospital in Clintwood, VA. Ronnie was an amateur radio operator and made many friends throughout the years over the airwaves. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Layne, Sr. and Anna Colleen Mullins; and brother, C.J. Layne.

Ronnie is survived by his sisters, Brenda Layne Cox and Christi Layne, as well as a host of cousins.
