Ruby June Goodman

Abingdon, VA – Ruby June Harris Goodman was born in Fulton, KY on April 24, 1934.  She passed from this life in Lebanon, VA on December 19, 2022, at the age of 88.  June retired from the 3M Corporation in Middleway, WV in 1987.  She and her late husband, Roland, moved to Abingdon, VA in 1987.  She has been a member of the Abingdon Church of Christ Since 1987. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Ruby Frazier Harris, and brother, John T. Harris.

June is survived by her son, Randy Goodman of Abingdon, VA; sisters, Mary Sandefer, Marie Richter, and Mildred Clark; brothers, Glen Harris, Jerry Harris, and Clyde Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Abingdon Church of Christ with Minister Nathan Liddell and Minister Bill Haywood officiating.  A private interment was held in Green Hills Memory Gardens, Cedar Bluff, VA.
