Samuel Glen Kestner, Jr. beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on July 2, 1963, Samuel was a gentle soul whose warmth and wisdom touched all who knew him. His steadfast devotion to his family and his strength through life’s joys and sorrows will remain an enduring legacy for those he leaves behind.
Samuel’s life was rich in moments of love, laughter, and compassion. He was a man of quiet integrity whose actions spoke volumes, always choosing kindness and understanding.
Samuel is survived by his wife Marcy Kestner and took immense pride in his children, Naomi Arnold, Samuel Kestner III, and Bruce (Maria) Kestner. He celebrated their triumphs and provided steadfast support during times of challenge, embodying patience and unconditional love. He treasured the bonds with his siblings—Martha Haynie, Henry Kestner, and Melinda Martinez—nurturing the connection with each through heartfelt conversations, shared memories, and unspoken understanding. Also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
With every loss, Samuel held his loved ones close. He deeply missed his parents, Cora and Samuel Kestner Sr., and his siblings, Mary Kestner, David Kestner, and Clara Tiller, as well as his brother Ricky Rosenbaum. Their memories lingered in Samuel’s heart, and he often honored them through stories and cherished family traditions. The passing of his son-in-law, James Arnold, was a sorrow he faced with quiet courage and grace, ever attentive to the needs of his family.
He loved his Harley and his fur babies. He enjoyed driving the shuttle to transport hikers. He loved spending time with his family and grandkids. He was loved by his friends and family
