Scotty Lee Lester

Scotty Lee Lester, age 76, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Abingdon Health and Rehab Center. He was a retired dairy farmer.
He was born to the late Earnest Lester and Viola Ratliff Lester in Glade Spring. In addition to his parents, Scotty was also preceded in death by seven siblings, Bea Mason, Ronald Lester, Lucille Kelly, J.G. Lester, Martha Lester, Fred M. Lester, and Agnes Lester.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Palmer Lester; two sisters, June Lester and Ann Lester, both of Glade Spring; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Old Glade Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Andrew Vargas and Rev. Timothy Bird officiating.
