Stanley Edward Smith

Stanley E. “Eddie” Smith, age 66, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026. He was born on July 22, 1959. Eddie graduated from Sullivan East High School in 1980 and worked at Bristol Compressors for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Stanley and Lucille Bowers.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Rebecca. Other survivors include his son, Brad Ferrell; grandsons, Bradley Ferrell, Dylan Chafin, Daniel Ferrell, and Zach Ferrell; his loving mom, Beulah Simcox; brother, George Simcox and wife, Amber; sisters, April Simcox and Robin Peters and husband, David; special uncle, Grady Bowers; and his cat, Meow Meow.

Eddie loved anything related to Star Trek, Star Wars, and westerns. He also loved to travel, especially to Amish country. He will be missed by his friends and family.
