William "Bill" Paul Skeen

William “Bill” Paul Skeen, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Bill was born on February 23, 1949, in Newport News VA, to the late Paul Fuller Skeen and Vera Burns Milton Skeen. Bill enjoyed skeet and trap shooting and being a member of the Kettlefoot Rod & Gun Club. He loved teaching his granddaughter magic tricks. Bill enjoyed teaching safety classes and conducting orientation for new members at Kettlefoot Rod & Gun Club.

Survivors include his son, Michael Skeen and wife Heather “Nikki” Skeen, one granddaughter, Blakely, girlfriend, Sue Marsh, special “son” Charlie Marsh and members of the Kettlefoot Rod & Gun Club.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Benny Bowman officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Kettlefoot Rod & Gun Club, 21101 Kettlefoot Rd., Bristol VA 24202.
